DUI Lawyers near Lombard (Schaumburg, Norris: lawyer, legal, association)

I need to find a good DUI Lawyer near Lombard. I was arrested last week for a DUI. I received 4 tickets with my DUI and this is my first time being arrested.

Today I am meeting with John W. Callahan from Norris & Callahan (Schaumburg, IL) to talk about my case. But I found a review about them on the internet saying they are a scam. Does anyone here know anything about them?

Can anyone recommend a DUI Lawyer that I should look into near Lombard that won't scam me?

The #1 thing that you should be doing is try to find an attorney that is well acquainted with the jurisdiction where you were arrested / will be tried. The differences between the various counties is SUBSTANTIAL -- if the firm you hire is not on good terms with the States' Attorney office that will be prosecuting you then any money you spend will be wasted. Of course the other side of the coin is that there are some firms that will not take certain kinds of cases. If the charges against you and the procedures around your arrest leave little room for negotiation some firms will not want to be associated with a case that is too hard to have a good outcome...

The Illinois State Bar Association website has a lawyer-finder page where you can search by area of practice (DUI is among the listed areas) and by county (choose the county where you were arrested). My suggestion is go there, get names, and look up reviews on independent websites. Make a list of those with good reviews and start calling.

A good attorney in Lombard who does DUI's is Nick Kirkeles. He is honest, and was an assistant public defender for many years with alot of DUI exerience.
