I know there is a place in OakBrook that does, can't recall the name of it... but i do believe you have to be an officer of some sort to be able to buy there. When my son was in the Explorer program, he was able to get some uniform pieces there... and hubby has purchased a thing or two.

If she needs this equipment for work, wouldn't they have lists of places to buy from?

I will check to see if I can find what this place in Oakbrook is. They didnt give her a list of anywhere to purchase any of her equipment. She has to purchase a gun, holster, bullet proof vest, handcuffs, baton, and OC spray. All they have told her was to check in the suburbs, since pretty much none of the equipment can be purchased here in the city.

I can't be sure I'm spelling it correct but the place in Oakbrook/Oakbrook Terrace area is called "Ray Oharra's". It used to be in a strip mall by the Dominicks at 38 and Midwest road but they were forced to move because they are redeveloping the strip mall. Good luck and if I find out more info I'll repost.
