Default Lake Forest Elementary Schools and Preschools

Hello- we are going to be relocating to Lake Forest next year, and I would love any feedback on neighborhoods and schools. Are there any elementary school districts that are considered more favorable than others, or are they pretty much all of equal caliber? It seems like a lot of houses that I am seeing online are in the Cherokee district. We are planning renting until we can find a home to buy, but I would like to stay in the neighborhood where we rent if possible since I don't want to move my children to a different school if I don't have to, so I want to know as much as I can about the neighborhoods before choosing. I will be visiting in a couple weeks to check things out, so any suggestions on things to see to get a feel for the neighbooods while I am there would be great. Also, I am in the market for a preschool for my soon to be 4 year old. Any recommendations would be very welcome.

Thanks very much.

Try Lake Forest Country day school for preschool....they are a privately run indepedent PS-8 grade school. Great class sizes, great teachers.....great place for kids.
