Default Plainfield

Any info on Plainfield High Schools. What is it like as a community? How far is downtown Chicago from here. Any info would be great!

As a community Plainfield is great. Right now there are 3 high schools in Plainfield, and the 4th high school is currently under construction. You can learn more about the schools here....Plainfield Community Consolidated School District 202

Without traffic and road construction you could be downtown via I-55 in 45 minutes. (for a daily 9-5 commute it will NEVER happen! On a normal day, you'd probably be looking at about an hour to an hour and a half unless you took the train from Joliet or Aurora. Still a trip to get to the train stations though.

If we had a train that ran through here the property values would skyrocket because, other than the distance from the city, it's really a great place to live.
