Without traffic and road construction you could be downtown via I-55 in 45 minutes. (for a daily 9-5 commute it will NEVER happen!
On a normal day, you'd probably be looking at about an hour to an hour and a half unless you took the train from Joliet or Aurora. Still a trip to get to the train stations though.
If we had a train that ran through here the property values would skyrocket because, other than the distance from the city, it's really a great place to live.
