Default Chicago to Burr Ridge

Hi!

I am new to Chicago and looking for the best way to get to Burr Ridge for work. I see that Metra runs between the city and Burr Ridge but runs the wrong way for my commute. I am going out of the city in the morning and returning in the evening. Does anyone know the best way to do this commute other than driving.

Thanks!

driving in either direction during rush hour is horrible, but as far as I know, it's your only option. Mass transit is totally impractical in your case, so I would suggest living somewhere with a nice downtown (like Naperville) and driving from there.

Live in Burr Ridge or Hinsdale if you can afford it - but Palos, Lemont, LaGrange, Western Springs and Darien are all nice areas that would be a 10-15 minute drive.
