Your numbers are probably correct. The lure of Lake Forest is not so great that I personally would move next to a Tollway. I would find a different town if all I could afford was next to the tollway. Provided I could afford or wanted to afford the $, Libertyville, Green Oaks, Lincolnshire, Riverwoods, Long Grove, Hawthorn Woods and if lake access was important Winnetka, Wilmette, perhaps Lake Bluff, Highland Park and Glencoe would give me more than enough choices with excellent schools, large lots, good library and parks programs without the din of trucks 24/7. But, different strokes for different folks

Thanks again to all. Won't be making any offers on the house near the tollway. I was just curious if others felt it would be difficult to live there which was my initial instinct.
