What I mean is that I used to live right off the corner of Route 38 (Lincoln Highway as it's called through STC) and Randall. And I worked right by Pheasant Run. I left the area about 10 months ago and moved back to the city before STC's 1st Street "revitalization" started (as if there weren't already several vital businesses there anyway -- I never really figured out what, exactly, needed to be "re"-vitalized). Maybe that's why traffic is worse through STC now than it was just a year ago.

D303.org is the school district website, and I don't think there will be any school redistricting there. D303 just had a very controversial elementary school redistricting that left a lot of people very unhappy, so I don't (hope!) there will be any more soon!
D303 schools are excellent but their school boards have had problems in the past since I have lived here (12 years).
That subdivision has a very nice elementary school, can't remember the name, I have been in it and it is very nice. And high school is St. Charles North I believe. I don't know what middle school is though. I am an east-sider.
Campton Hills is now going to be its own village. I supposed you could go to the countyofkane website and find out more about that maybe?

Fox Mill has a reputation that precedes itself. I have a few friends who have been snubbed because their children attend Bell Graham School (in Fox Mill), but they do not live there. One friend of mine hates this area and is moving to get away. She's from the south, and can't believe how rude and unfriendly the people are. Definitely a delusion of grandeur in Fox Mill. I grew up on the north shore (Wilmette) and the residents are 4 times wealthier there, but are secure in themselves and don't look down upon others. It's laughable that the Fox Mill folks think they are superior.

I think you get this in the more "upper-middle" areas of the Chi suburbs, i.e. you won't find it in the North Shore but will in St. Charles/C. Hills, Geneva, and to a lesser extent in Batavia, Naperville, Stonebridge/White Eagle/Tamarack in Aurora, etc. etc.
