Thumbs up Going to work in Wood Dale, any tips on where to live?

I am starting a new job in wood dale, which is not far from O hare airport. I will be driving to work daily. I am a single male in my late 20s, like occasional night out, but not crazy about partying every night. Need to be somewhere decent. Any suggestion on where to live? Burb vs. city? which neighborhood? How's the commute like? Thanks, Dave

I would consider Addison or Itasca in the suburbs. Oak Park for a more city-like feel. Otherwise you will spend your life commuting.

Try Bloomingdale, Elmhurst, Roselle, Glendale Heights, Villa Park, and Elk Grove VIllage, these communities are nearby. The only drawback is being in the shadow of O'Hare Airport. I hope this helps
