Default Suggestions for good school areas near Rosemont?

First, it is very helpful to read all of the other postings...but, am hoping someone can help with a specific question. We are being relocated to Chicago area - my husband will work in Rosemont. We don't know Chicago area. We have 2 elementary age kids, and a house in good schools area is highest priority. Max we want to spend for 4 bed/2 ba is $400k. Would be great if his commute was less than 30 mins (either car or train). Any suggestions for areas to look at (or avoid) would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I would check out Park Ridge,it should fit the bill and has a great "downtown" with good schools, nice neighborhoods, and easy commuter train to Chicago.(Also the hometown of Harrison Ford and Hillary Clinton)

Thank you soo much! We'll be visiting the area shortly. Are there any other areas you might recommend or avoid? Just glancing at the schools info, it does look good. Thanks!

i dont really care for the areas in and around Rosemont.Very close to Ohare, and the towns really lack character.I dont know of any "BAD" areas to avoid, just not as nice as other suburban areas..Good luck with your move
