You will have plenty of time in the house unless the daughter wants to sell at cut-rate prices. There are lots of houses for sale and hardly any buyers. It will be a tough sell if the house is the condition you're saying (walls and/or asbestos). What neighborhood? Once you see a For Sale sign, look up the property on the web.
