How big is the Canadian population in Chicago? (Lincoln: layoffs, neighborhood)

I've met a few in the NW suburbs while involved in youth hockey. There's a sports bar in the city where a large contingent of Canadian-born hockey fans go to watch games. Can't remember which bar though.... there was a local TV news story about it during the hockey playoffs.

They're nearly all illegals, and like all illegals you find them clustered in their ethnic enclave (we call the Canadian enclave in Chicago "Mooseville"), shacked up about 4 per bedroom in coldwater flats on the City's far SW side. You can see them taking the bus to the Orange Line so they can get to their jobs downtown, where they have jobs as air conditioner cleaners and mixing up "All Seasonings" potato chips and poutine for local gourmands.

At night, you can hear them practice their moose calls. It's really chilling, actually, knowing that humans can even make that noise and that most of them actually live in North America just like real Americans. Chilling.

There was a big scandel a few years ago when Lord Black was caught hiring illegal Canadian workers. He paid them under the table and rumor had it he'd beat them but they were too afraid of being deported back across the Border to notify the authorities.

I have it on good authority that "wolverines" make a good living helping Canadians sneak across the border into our land of liberty and freedom away from the tyranny of socialism and oil jobs. Presbyterian churches, with their strong Scottish affilliation, are known to be not much more than fronts for Scottish-lineage Canadians. A recent raid on 4th Presbyterian on Michigan Avenue went wrong and had wild-eyed snow-backs running through the tourists, sending women screaming and clutching their children. It was a horrific scene.

Outside of Mooseville, those in the know can pick up on these illegals by listening carefully. If someone calls migratory geese "Canada geese," then they're likely Canadian, since true Americans will patriotically call them "Canadian geese," dictionary be damned. Another clue is if someone asks if you are a "Friend of Tim's," that's a clear sign. There are no Tim Hortons here, my friend, so you should move along back to your own country and quit threatening our women and children!
