3. Everyone can b*tch, but I often depended on the CTA to get anywhere.
4. Chicago media...I miss WZRD (88.3. Northeastern) WNUR (89.3 Northwestern). WFMT.
5. Chicago's Art Institute for some of the world's greatest art.
6. Walking downtown on Wacker or Michigan, appreciating the interesting architecture.
7. The Music Box for foreign films.
8. Maybe coincidentally encoutering someone I knew from decades ago while walking on the street.

Glad somebody already mentioned the music box theater. best place in the world to watch a movie. Also, reckless records in lv and myopic books in wp...the abundance of thai food (more than making up for the scarcity of good chinese places)...
