Default 1400 Lake Shore Drive

I'm thinking about buying a 1 bedroom condo at 1400 Lake Shore Drive. Any opinions of that building and area? It is an old building that has been completely renovated. There is some talk that it might be given "historical status" and tax breaks as part of that status. The unit I am looking at is in the $200,000 range. Will it hold it's value? Increase? I'm looking at it as a rental investment.
