Man, I haven't heard or seen the thundersnow yet. Darn double paned windows keeping the sound out I guess.

My garage roof is still there. Yay.

We're under a blizzard warning and are supposed to get a lot of snow up until tomorrow night. A lot of colleges (including mine) have already been canceled for tomorrow, but right now the snowfall is pretty mild.

A lot of lightning and some thunder in Logan Square over the last 30 minutes, it seems to have died down at this point. The snowfall has picked up from earlier this evening, we'll see where it ends up. Right now they're sticking with the 15-20" estimate from earlier.

I live in Wichita, KS and we got hit earlier today. It wasn't near as bad as what you are getting. I work for Fedex and today I was making a delivery inside a 18 story building and was trying to push a dolly full of boxes up the sidewalk in the middle of a blizzard. I was standing straight up with my feet planted and the 50 mph wind gusts was blowing backwards even though my feet were planted. Not to mention I couldn't see more than about 10 feet because of the whiteout conditions. The wind with this storm is awful. All, be careful and safe.
