Bottom line, it's around 80 a month depending upon plan you choose.
The Sweatshop in the 3200 block of Broadway (just north of
Belmont) is a good, cheaper alternative and they have a website. They have towels but it isn't nearly as fancy or new as Fitness Formula.
There is also Quads on Broadway about 2 blocks north of Addison. It has a history of being for serious bodybuilders but really anybody can go. Much cheaper than Fitness Formula but not as nice.
And of course, the mega Bally at Clark and Diversey on the upper floors of the Century building (building where movie theatres are located). They have so many plans they try to sell you. I can't begin to gander at their pricing.
p.s. LPAC quoted me something like 110.00 per month at their new Broadway location(directly across the street from Sweatshop). And, I didn't like it as well as the lesser priced Fitness Formula clubs within blocks.
Good luck...

Bally's is dirt cheap (30 or so a month), but it always busy, always crowded, and i have never heard anything good from my friends who are members there...the only thing that people seem to like is that it is cheap.
I joined the FFC, try and go there, they have a corporate rate for nearly every company out there.
I don't know anyone in the Lakeview/LP area who pays less then $60 a month except the people who go to Bally's...I pay $78 a month at FFC for my corporate rate. I could go to Bally's and save $40 a month, but it is a 1.0 mile walk from my apartment, and in the dead of winter in Chicago, i definitely would not be up for that.
Good Luck! It is expensive to work out, but that gives you a bigger incentive to make sure you use it!
