Wrong to tear down, if the people living there are not provided with logistics and avenues to relocate.

Wrong to tear down, if the land the buildings sit on is sold to private interests, we all know, there are developers, chomping at the bit to get that land. A new veterans hospital and hospice would be ideal for that property, considering the "G" owns it

Right to tear down, and build low rise mixed income housing, with an emphasis on efficiency and eco friendly building practices.

I would prefer they stay, just to give a reminder to all of Chicago of its stupidity for building them in the first place.

Right to tear down. It is just poor people living there. This is America I'd hire them if they have intelligence. Let the gold coast people take back what they own! Let Fordham, American Invsco, and everyone dig in. My car dealer opened up a service center near there on Goose Island.

I'm sorry about my post. Part of it was jokingly said. I believe that the new developments being done in partnership with the CHA are working out well. I believe that they should have a mix of poor and rich in this urban neighborhood. But I still believe that the poor should not be able to take up so much land for which they pay nothing. The area is just west of the Gold Coast and I remember being in my fellow doctors LSD condo and seeing the gun fire at the complex. I believe the experiment should be limited to economics though. I think that this development proves some of my theory wrong that rich and poor cannot get along. I still believe that schools should not bus for integration. I believe that families should be assigned based on where they live. I am deeply sorry for anyone that was offended by this post.
