About 134th St. Which is 17 miles from downtown. Schaumburg is more like 30. That would be one long train ride given that it takes almost an hour from downtown to O'Hare.

That red line extension is absolutely ridiculous. I thought Howard was far as hell, and that's 7600N. 13400N would be somewhere in Wilmette or Kenilworth, for comparison.

I suppose it could be cool if the Schaumburg extension was kind of like the Skokie Swift in the fact that it could run express and maybe link up with the blue line. I'm sure there is SOME interest in that.

I imagine it would run express to Cumberland. There is really no other way to make it worthwhile and actually save people time.

How can it run express though with all the other trains using the line at the same time?

I'm thinking more like Winnetka would be 13400 North. Anyways the ride from the southern terminus at 134th Street might not be that much longer given how many fewer stops there are that far south.
