Deep Dish: Still think Uno's is the best (and no, not the chain you can eat at anywhere else). Best tomatoes/sauce ever.
Thin crust: Armand's in Elmwood Park
I think we'll take a break from "the best of" for a few weeks--pm me with any ideas

Armand's is good. They opened one up in St. charles here on north avenue - but now it is renamed Pizza Pi perfection... but they have a sign up that says "new name, same pizza"... I don't know what's up. VERY thin crust so you can eat a lot of it..

No, but maybe someday I will. At this point, I don't see the purpose in going someplace that has deep dish and NOT getting deep dish.

Lou Malnati's and Gino's East are great for pan and deep dish. There is a thin crust at a Place called Marie's In Albany Park that is cheap, decent and has great beer specials too. There is a place called Pizza Rustica on Sheridan near Irving Park that has awesome thin crust . A good deep dish can be found at a place on Pulaski near Addison called La Villa-good Italian food too.

Another honorable mention is Pal Joey's on Rt. 38 in West Chicago (between Rt. 59 and Joliet St). Its undergone new ownership since Joey sold it, but their pizza is still really good, but not quite as good as it used to be.

Man, do I love pizza. Nothing out of the ordinary with my choices:
Deep Dish: Lou Malnati's
Thin Crust: Aurelio's
