Stuffed crust - Manzos on Irving Park in Albany Park is the best hands down. If you haven't had it, I dare you to put your so-called "best" stuffed crust up against it. It is the best.

Thin crust - I haven't had any that I think is particularly great. I have enjoyed Leonas' on Sheffield (haven't had it at any of the other locations).

Manzo's is actually in Irving Park. I've heard their pizza is surprisingly good. The interior of that place is a total, unrepentant time warp -- we're talking 60s-era "The Outfit" decor. Seriously old-school Chicago.

Augie's in Andersonville was always kind of a timewarp, too, but maybe it's undergone the inevitable transformation by now...it's been a few years.

Actually, Augie's undergoing the transformation from "open" to "closed." Tomorrow (Aug 22) is their last day in business. Another mom-and-pop shop falls victim to Andersonville yuppification.

Chesdan's pizza
They have a thin crust and a sweet sauce and it is delicious. They used to be located by Archer and Kedzie, but they have 2 locations--Homer Glen and Shorewood

You'll be about a 7-minute walk to the flagship Gino's East at 633 N. Wells. You'll be even closer to a Lou Malnati's (439 N. Wells). I prefer Gino's but only by a slim margin. They're both pretty good.
