Quick question: Does anyone who knows where I can find tax information about Chicago?! I jut got my offer and wanted to know how IL's taxes compare to PA's.

Tax Tables
According to that website both states has a flat 3.0% state income tax (PA is actually 3.07%) Chicago has a 9% sales tax and property taxes vary on where you are, though they are high in the nicer suburbs because of the high schools. |

Registering your car will cost you another 7.75% in "use tax" if it's a newer car.
