I don't mind Section 8 for the elderly or handicapped. You should also be required to learn a trade or attend school if you are on this program because you decided to have a bunch of kids.

Section 8 is a federal program. Housing Authorities are mostly funded from the Feds as well.

Some way to connect the Blue Line with the Brown/Red Lines; would make transit to popular destinations a bit easier, although there is a bus on Addison..

I also recently noticed that many popular restaurants seem to be closed on Mon and/or Tuesdays; don't really know why...

I just visited Chi this week; insufferable heat, with the worst yet to come. I guess that North Clark Street on a hot summer night after a Cubs game is pretty grimey..

Most not huge restaurants run by an individual chef/owner are closed 1 day a week. Isn't that the case in MassVt? You need at least 1 more full-time cook to be open 7 days a week and it needs to be a good one who can work all the stations.

I thought it was normal for most restaurants to be closed 1 day a week other than chains and the like.

2) "Bad" neighborhoods

3) Public transportation

4) CPS

And any other idea/solutions to make Chicago a better place.
Ill give an outsiders point of view. Having mass shootings on cops/people in buses on mass transit whatever it may be cant be tolorated. Concealed Carry would be a start for self defense. But then again i dont think a Colt M1911 would be much of a challenge to criminals armed with machine guns. The Crime really got my attention back in the spring when a mass shooting involving a bus with people inside. Chicago wont last if that stuff is allowed to happen because its one thing to have a murder happen in your city its another to have mass shootings going on in the streets.
Ill also add this isnt just a rule for chicago its a rule for any city mass shootings are a huge demoralizer and if your not safe in your city cause your worried about mass shootings it leads to decay like we saw with detroit.

Certainly, more guns are needed for less shootings.

Personally, I'm not worried about "mass shootings" nor are any of the people I know.
