Here's the deal. I am in my late twenties and have been considering a move to Chicago. I have done significant research (e.g. neighborhoods, cost of living, jobs, pros/cons, etc.) and visited the city several times. Basically, if you have moved to the city or suburbs from michigan, what has been your overall experience? Are you satisfied with your decision? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. You will never regret it. Half the state is here. You can always move back if you get older...sometimes I think about it. I know maybe 50 people from MI who moved here...I never met anyone who moved back.

I'm not from Michigan, but there are many many many people from Michigan in Chicago.

I went to college in Michigan and there a ton people from Michigan here, at least in their 20s-30s.

I work in Chicago live in the sw burbs
Seems to me a very high concentration of Michiganders in the area
