hi, I have to recover a credit by going to evening classes to another high school. I have the choice of either Wells (by Division and Ashland), Kelly (by California and Archer ), or Simeon (79th and Halsted).

Wells neighborhood is fine, I live not far from there. There are a lot of expensive houses on the blocks next to it.

Simeon is kind of nice. Its a half mile off the Dan Ryan at 83rd street, next to two new large malls (Lowe's and Walmart) and is newly built as a rehab of a former Goldblatt's warehouse. The school is on Vincennes (a major south side diagonal street) right at a bus stop. One can take the red line to 69th street and then the #24 Wentworth bus to the site.
If I had to drive, I'd consider Simeon because it is easy to get to via a major highway. Wells and Kelly are more inside neighborhoods for stop and go traffic. I've been to Simeon and Kelly but not to Wells.
I think the Bulls' Derrick Rose went to Simeon.
