Default Downtown/Arlington Heights/Airport

I'm flying into the airport, not renting a car and staying in Arlington Heights for a wedding. is there an easy way to get from ohare to arlington heights other than a cab? From what I've seen so far, it looks easy to go from downtown to arlington heights and back. Also, on my departure day, (A Sunday), I'd like to explore until we fly out in the evening. Ideally, I dont want to keep my bag in Arlington Heights, but rather possibly store it somewhere for the day so we can head to the airport right after. Any suggestions

Where in AH do you need to get to? You can take Pace bus #250(runs every day of the week) from O'hare Kiss-n-Fly terminal to Des Plaines Metra station. From there you can take bus #234(runs M-Sat) to the northwest corner of Hintz rd and Windsor rd. This is the northmost part of AH, about good 3-4 miles from downtown AH. If you then walk half a mile west along Hintz to the intersection with AH rd, there's a bus stop on the nw corner. I forgot the bus number, but it can take you to downtown AH from there. Sorry, that's the only route I can think of right now. Check out pacebus.com, maybe you can find a better way to get there.

It has been my experience that very few places will store your bags anymore (particularly if you are not a registered guest) due to the terrorism threat.

I think there are still locker rentals at the airport. It's doubtful anyone will store your bag for you other than a hotel where you're registered.

Honestly, you might be better off renting a car. Taking multiple buses around the burbs to get from Ohare to Arlington Heights seems like more trouble than its worth. On Sunday you can park your car (with your bag) at the Arlington Heights METRA stop for the day while you explore.
