I am having a problem trying to figure out how contractors are charging per sq.ft. when concrete doubles.Like taking 58ft X 45ft is 2,610 sq ft and at 4 inches it comes out to be 32.22222 yards so at 8 inches it comes out to 64.44444 yards do the double the price per sq ft or figure it different

The total price probably won't double since setting up an 8-inch pour doesn't take twice as much work as a 4-inch pour. However the charge for concrete will be close to double (it may be slightly less than double the cost for the concrete, because 32 yards will probably take four trucks, and 64 will probably take 7 trucks, so it's twice as much concrete, but the delivery costs could end up being less than double.

If you want to know how it gets charged, though, call some contractors and ask them for a quote - anything you find on the internet won't be specific to your job. Your site may have specific aspects that mean it costs more to do the job in.
