IDK, our kitten is scratching the carpet. Doesn't seem to be damaging it yet....she will soon have the front claws removed.

^That's fair enough about the carpet, but any place with hardwoods (like the vast majority of city apartments) just isn't that likely to sustain damage.

And realistically, urine on carpets is still probably a bigger concern of most landlords with carpeted floors.

Well you can look at the cat and see if it is black or not but I would not go around calling it a spade. People tend to get upset with terms like that.

They don't care if your cat is declawed, spayed, indoor or outdoor. They don't even care if it is dead or living. Arlington Heights just does not care about cats period. And it is a good place for cats to live and breed more cats.

I will if you will drop that screen name. There is no cubssox fan. There are only Cubs fans or Sox fans. My favorite teams are the Sox and whoever is playing the Cubs. Maybe that is why your cat is scratching. It wants to get away from such confusion and go to The Cell where real men play real baseball!

I think you're kind of a psycho and have generally sketchy advice, but the bolded made me laugh. Out loud. So I guess you can stay
