You can not find that low even in a ghetto. The only place that low would be a transit motel and trust me thoose are not good places to stay.

I'd try the Craigslist "rooms and shares." Either that or look around the neighborhoods you'd consider for flyers and what-not.

Personally I wouldn't want to live in someone's common room, but it could work for you.
