looking for halway house...

don't know if anyone knows of any kind of halfway homes or churches that help the needy in the area of Roosevelt and South Michigan area. I found a few but they are not close and not in a great area. I do understand I am not going to find on on the loop but one close and where he can be kinda safe would be help full. My son has to do some research at one. Thanks for any and all help once again!!!
