Default Some help working near NW no car, where to live?

So I will be working near NW law, which is near the coast, and not brining a car, where is the best place to live. I do not mind taking the train, if it is much more affordable, I tried to read some posts to get an idea, but I am not sure where the train stops convenient to this location. Also, 1250 seems reaonable living in streeterville no?

1250 is reasonable for a Studio in Streeterville (but not a one bedroom, although there are some smaller one bedrooms to be had for that price) and if you did live there, you could probably walk to work.
