I agree, but you should consider that race has no, absolutely no, basis in science.

So by definition you are in a bit of gray area trying to base scientific studies around it, once you get outside of the blatant and race-specific redlining and other Jim Crow-era race-based policies.

Actually the "science" part of the argument is lacking. The "critical thinking" part has not been put on display either. No meaningful responses have been given. More of a herd-like mentality.

I say it comes with society, you are probably a good educated black guy, but you have to acknowledge & except there are not many. Do you really blame these people for being afraid of you? Do you know what their individual experience has been with young black males? It could be effected by anything. Is it a Chicago thing?

Hi zz4guy,

It doesn't mater what he was wearing. I see the same thing that dipgrant sees. I'm well dressed most of the time due to the type of work I do. Most residents of the areas OP is writing about see skin pigmentation before what your wearing, income or education.

Don't tell people they aren't experiencing racism because of your own agenda. Racism is real in Chicago just like it is throughout the world. It's dumb for people to judge a persons character or whether or not person will be a good neighbor by color.
