These numbers would be very small, if there is, I believe there are less than 5,000 Ethiopian Jews in the world and less than 1,000 in the entire country.

OK I just googled it. There is a black Jewish Temple on the South Side. It is made up mostly of converts, though, not Ethiopian Jews.

And yes, to settle this mess, population exchanges were conducted in 1920's after the Greco-Turkish war to re-settle Greeks and Turks appropriately (see Pontic Greeks).

The Treaty of Sevres conducted population transfer based off religion. If you only spoke Greek but were a Muslim, you were considered s 'Turk' and deported to Turkey. If you were someone who was Christian, but only knew Turkish - you were considered a Greek and deported. The Greek national identity was not very strong until relatively recently - they were called 'Greeks' because they were Orthodox christians.

EDIT: So ETHNIC interbreeding was not shamed upon. To be fair, religious intermarriage was not either between Abrahamics to a certian extent and the Ottomans werent Islamic fundamentalists.

There's also 4-5 million Middle Eastern and North African Jews in the world who are not white. Once upon a time there were 75,000 jews in Cairo, just as many in Casablanca, and 1/3 of Baghdad was Jewish too until the mid 1930s with the rise of Hitler and the Grand Mufti at the time in Palestine working together.

There's also a few million more Sephardic jews who are descended from Portugal/Spain before they were expelled in 1492 (many went to Turkey, Tunisia, etc):

The Greek ethnic identity was fairly strong from the days of the Byzantine empire, seemingly spurred along by increasing conflicts with the West, culminating in 1204 (see 4th crusade).

You should move to Livonia, Michigan. It is the whitest city in the country of more than 100,000 people. And, you will be happy to know, also one of the safest.

However, it is also so colossally mind-numbingly boring that unless it sends chills up your spine to wake up every morning and see your white neighbor mowing the lawn, you will be suicidal within a few weeks.

Meanwhile those who like life on the edge, like half a million tiny Asian toddlers, will continue to enjoy the city.

Don't know where you're coming from with that. I'd believe the welfare thing. The last time I was there, it was pretty trashy but I hear it's hugely gentrified in recent years...
