Unhappy I recieved a parking ticket almost two monthes after I return home form my visit to Chicago

I came to Chicago to see my daughter when I got there I was told we would need to buy park permits to park in the area that she lived in. We did that and everyday we made sure that we changed the permit because they were only good for 24 hours. My daughter held on to the permits until she decide to move home afer to shootings in her neighborhood. After she moved home the end of August I received a parking ticket in the mail. I told them where we purchased the permits and that of course we don't have them now. And that we never receive a ticket on the vehicle. And they told us the we were found guilty. I am so upset with the city of Chicago and I am sure that they were targeting rental cars.

Well, if you don't pay the ticket the rental compan will get you. The rental company knew about the ticket in time to fight it but didn't tell you. Just contest the rental company's charge on your credit card for the ticket. Most times, the company will then have to eat the parking ticket fee.
