Default Housing around UIC Dental

Hey everyone, I am looking to go to UIC dental school (if I get in), in the next year or so. What are some housing areas that are within walking/short biking distance. I also do not mind taking a short bus route (15 minutes) I plan on having a car but I would rather walk or bike. I have lived in Florida my entire life in which I have to drive everywhere and I am tired of it.

I would also like a spot that has lots of restaurants, cafes, and bars. I am 22 and will be 23 when i get there so the social scene is still something I want.

I will pay anything for an amazing experience

The Dental school is located on the western part of the campus. The area that is closest to that side is called the Tri-Taylor district. But if you want to be more in the center of the action, the East Side of the campus offers many of the amenities that you are looking for(especially along Taylor street and along Halsted Avenue. The campus does have a shuttle bus service that operates between both sides of the campus.More information can be obtained on the following website at UIC Facilities Management.
