Crime has been falling for years. How much it has fallen is unclear due to the city and CPD manipulating data and reclassifying crimes. The reason for the decline has nothing to do with conceal carry.

Crime in the US & western world fell faster than in Chicago prior to allowing citizens to CCW in Chicago.

Now if only schools could improve in the south side, that along with the falling crime rate from CCW would cause a demand real-estate there.

The city constantly "kills crime" on paper. Then last winter when Officer Bad Weather, our best crime fighter, was out and about the City they boasted how crime was down, DUHHHhhh! Now it's getting warm and Officer Bad Weather is on vacation till December so let's see what happens when the temps get into the upper 80s and 90s and stay there for days!

Yes, it actually does. A woman about to get raped can shoot the to-be rapist, he won't want to rape her. This has happened NUMEROUS times. Now, almost all murder victims in Chicago are gang related, with a few exceptions.

We are talking specific to Chicago here where the crime rate had been falling before conceal carry. I have no issue with conceal carry, I just find it hilarious how gun nuts think it is the only way to stop crime.

BS - You Lie! Homicide was on the rise in Chicago prior to CCW law. Homicide & crime rates in the USA has been falling since 1992, but in Chicago it has been rising for the past 10 years.

Your chart is missing last year when the homicide rate was at it's lowest level in almost 50 years. Overall it has been fairly flat over the last 10 years here. You are also ignoring that this year, with concealed carry, has registered more homicides than last year, without concealed carry.
