Awesome. I just posted about this in the Illinois forum. I was starting to get sick watching alderman carry around guns and politicians with armed guards, all the while telling the citizens not to do the same. It's always "do as I say, not as I do" around these parts.

Illinois gun laws have always been an unconstitutional failure. I'm just glad the courts put and end to this nonsense.

...that of course also begged the question of what it is they were up to that led to them fearing for their safety!

YES!!

This is a major victory for the citizens of Illinois and Chicago.

I will be one of the first to get a permit, and will make it a point to carry it around with me when I am out and about in Lakeview, Lincoln Park, etc.
