Mostly red and brown, but I ride blue too a good amount and then sometimes purple and pink. Rarely Green or Orange (used to ride it a lot more). I've only been on Yellow like 4 times.

I don't ride as often as I used to (more walking, more buses), but I ride the Brown and Red fairly regularly. I ride the Blue Line sometimes, the Orange Line sometimes, the Pink Line sometimes, every few months or so. About once a year I ride the Green Line and Purple Line. About once a decade I've ridden the Yellow Line. I ride Metra few times a year, mostly it's to visit my brother in Wheaton or to go to Evanston after work, but sometimes I've used it to go visit people in Edison Park, in Chicago Ridge, Ravina, even all the way to Harvard once. The only downtown station of any rail (CTA or Metra) line that I have never used is the Lasalle Street station.

You should also ask about Branches.

When I ride the Red Line it's nearly always the Howard Branch or the State Street subway plus Cermak.

When I ride the Blue Line it's always the O'Hare branch.

When I ride the Green Line, it's mixed between the South branch and the Oak Park branch.

95% of my trips on all lines occur between 35th, Western, the Lake, and Addison.

Mostly Blue, occasionally Brown.

When I was in grad school I was a frequent Orange Line rider. I used to do a lot of my studying on the Orange Line between classes because a) it got me away from the temptation of the internet (smart phones weren't ubiquitous yet [I still don't have one anyway]), b) it's the quietest line in the city, c) never more than a few other people in the car with me.
