There is nothing accurate about the show -- at all. It's not meant to be either, just entertaining. Sucks on that front for me too.

Anyways, maybe try the hospital route as an ER Tech or PCT while on the wait list?

For the OP ..Good Luck ..takes years ...
Good point. And, it's nice for once, to see the parts of the city that don't have el tracks in every shot.

Don't get me wrong, I love the el. But the way some of these shows would shoot it, you'd think there was an el line ever six blocks across the city.

Not even. They tested in 1994 then didn't test again until 2008.

Yes! I giggle every time I see a police chase down Lake Street. Visitors to the city must be pretty disappointed when they come and find out that there are only a couple streets with the 'L' tracks above.

Yes, the BB car chase gave everyone a scenic view of Chicago; Lower Wacker Drive, Daley Plaza, a mall in the 'burbs, Jackson Park ... no ' Torontago' for that flick ..

Not only that but a car that went airborne in Milwaukee, landed in Chicago and who can forget Bob's Country Bunker in Kokomo Indiana!
