Not as friendly as Wisconsin women, but friendlier than Southern California women. Of course they're better looking than Wisconsin women, and uglier than Southern California women.
Kinda like the rest of life, ya know?

Yeah, Cindy Crawford and Jenny McCarthy are from the Chicago area and they're pretty ugly... I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder...

Funny, I found it opposite. I find the women in Chicago to be extremely attractive. When in SoCal, the women are definitely good looking, but not like TV makes it out to be.

Lot of fat girls here. I really prefer thinner women, or a girl with curves who is not fat. Chicago has a lot of chunky girls and that's just not my thing. Other than that, the women here are OK. Chicago seems to be a magnet for businesswomen, a lot of those, and that's cool. Usually that's not my type but I'm open to different things and have dated different types of girls, including the more assertive, businesswoman type. But other than that, there seems to be a lot of working class, regular old, 25 year old women with 3-4 kids here. But in spite of all of this, I have managed to find someone who I'm very happy to be with.
Cities like D.C. and New York have women that are more to my liking, but hey. All I need is one, and I found her, so I'm content. If I were single, I'd be slightly dissappointed, but only because I would expect a city of this size to have better choices. If I broke up with my girl now, i might seriously consider moving to the East Coast because these women here don't do it for me for the most part.
If it makes any difference to anyone, I'm basically talking about black women. I have little interest or attraction to women of other races, especially preppy white women on the North Side. No thanks! But there are a lot of more artsy types of women (black women) up there and I kind of gravitate towards that. So maybe I just need to get out of the South Side, LOL.
But no seriously. i'm good. Just don't expect TOO much from this city. This is no Atlanta or D.C., that's for sure. It's more on par with cities like Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and St. Louis, and that's too bad because Chicago is a lot bigger and you would think we would have a lot more to choose from. We don't.

It depends what kind of women you like. There are all types everywhere, but in Chicago (as in much of the Midwest) women I know aren't afraid to eat or drink in front of a man, and I have a lot of girlfriends who really like sports. I don't have much experience with west coast women or even east coast women, but from my experience with southern women I've garnered that they seem to be more reserved and worry more of the opinions people have of them.

i was just thinking the same thing - many more overweight girls here overall. is that awful to say? it just seems that way. my office is all heavy girls, all into pizza and big sandwiches and eat ice cream EVERY day from the vending machine. i worked at conde nast in nyc, girls there ate egg whites for breakfast (if they ate breakfast) cooked in water, NOT oil. vinegar on salad, NOT oil. black coffee. diet coke. here there are plates of cookies and junk everywhere (at work). totally different. not ugly, but heavy... at least more so than nyc.

I must go to NYC now. Looks like most of the women in a city with 9 million people are thin! Hardly.
How can you rip on people for arguing over weather, then argue about which city has fatter women???
