Any type of food suggestions are great!

I think Wishbone gets you great bang for the buck, and Belmont House of Sushi and Noodles, a cheap sushi buffet, is pretty delicious for what it is. Nazarlik, on Belmont just east of Paulina doesn't look like much from the outside, but you get great turkish food for around 12 bucks a plate.
Other places I like that are around the 10-15 dollar range...
Schubas Harmony Grill at Belmont Southport
Fresca's at Lincoln/Paulina
Que Rico - I've only been to the new one in Roscoe Village but there's one in Lakeview as well.
Art of Pizza - Now that they remodeled, you can actually enjoy sitting down inside. Best pie in the city.
Then there's the Roscoe Village restaurants that I eat at way more than I should
Kitch'n on Roscoe/Damen
Robey's - chicken prosciutto pizza is where its at.
El Tinajon - The service can often be brutally slow. But I love the food, and their cinnamon coffee and this cinnamon/oatmeal milk they serve on the weekends in the morning help the soul recover after a night of overindulgence.
Orange - I liked it the first few times I went there, but the menu is filled with more misses than hits. I actually enjoy the dinner menu more, even though that's more of an afterthought there.
Costello's - I am sending their kids through college.
