I used City Staffing when I was temping and they always had various jobs for me. They are also how I found my current job that I have been for the last eight years.

The trick I learned when I was working for a temp agency is for me to be proactive and call them every day or so that I wasn't placed. I got several placements because I just happened to be the one who called when the opportunity came in.

I've used Robert Half and they helped me get my current job, I agree with the poster above. Nine out of 10 the one who gets placed is the one that is proactive and calling the agency regularly inquiring about placements.
