Downtown to Deerfield commute time (construction, train, commuting)

I'm thinking of taking a job in Deerfield near the Half Day Rd or Lake Cook Rd exit on 90/94. With the construction, I'm concerned about the time I'll have to spend commuting. Does anyone know the commute times from downtown? I'm at the Taylor exit on 90/94. Thanks.

I did this commute from Logan Square for 3 years (Lake Cook Rd/94).
You can take the Metra from downtown to the Lake-Cook station, but you'd have to see if the job offers a shuttle. Door to door on the train was about 1 hr 15 min. I used to drive it sometimes, and the commute would range anywhere from 30 minutes (on a GOOD day) to 1.5 hours. It was a hellish commute that I would not wish upon anybody. I ended up leaving that job to keep my sanity. 3 hours of my day was just commuting.
