Does such a map exist? All the maps I own/see only list the larger suburbs. Does anyone know where I can find a map of Chicagoland that shows EVERY suburb, big and small? Im tired of hearing about towns Ive never heard of nor been to and not being able to locate them on a map.

if you're talking about street maps, you would have to either buy a massive chicagoland map, which is in book form...i have one but its outdated by about 15 years. or you would have to buy each region individually as the fold up type. or theres mapquest

You know, Triple A might have a good quality map of the Chicagoland area. It just occured to me that when I was traveling I just would contact them for the maps I needed. Have you tried that?

How about the spiral-bound Rand-McNally atlases. The Chicagoland one covers 7 counties in detail.

I don't have time, but if you spend some time on google w/different searches of county names and GIS you should eventually find what you are looking for. This is a good site as well...

Hi Steve,
My absolute FAVORITE online map, (the one I most often use in my relocation quest) is at Live Local Search. Pop in an address, and click on Birds Eye. Then use the arrowws at the uper left corner to view an address form N, S, E and W. If you don't have an address, just type in a town and state, click on Birds Eye, and it will bring you to the center of town, usually. Most places are visible on the birds eye map, but a few are not. For example Naperville Yes, st charles No, geneva Yes. Katie |
