Well check it out but lemme tell ya Crows, my wife and I went there a couple of weeks ago. I had their take on eggs benedict and my wife had a single scrambled egg, an English muffin and a fruit cup. We each had coffee. The food was OK but nothing special and the English muffin was as tough as an inner tube, my wife has false choppers (new ones too and top shelf) and couldn't eat it. That is one tough muffin.
With tip the bill came to $33. That's alot for an OK at best breakfast. I can walk up to Yolk or the Savoy Grill and get a better breakfast cheaper. Next time I'm over that way I'll get chorizo and eggs at the Mexico Steak House.
Who knows maybe you'll like it though, tastes vary.

Yeah, I'll get in there one of these days, but I suspect you are probably right about it. Maybe once they've been at it for awhile they'll smooth everything out and the food will start to live up to its high prices.
What bothers me is the attitude of certain people I've talked to here in Bridgeport, who think anyone who eats at the restaurant must have come down "from the north side." Couldn't be that anyone in Bridgeport wants to eat organic food. It's like they hate the idea that anyone would open a restaurant like this in Bridgeport and would like nothing more than to see it fail. I just think you need give a place a try before you pass judgment on it (which you of course did).
There's also a kind of new bike shop on Halsted and 32nd that you might have noticed. Many here in Bridgeport are just waiting for that place to fail as well. Meanwhile, its employees are running just about the best bike shop in the city as far as friendliness and helpfulness to customers, and I wish them all the best.

I assume you are talking about Nana's:
Nana - Bridgeport - Chicago, IL.
which I went to yesterday, and I found to be quite good, and while expensive, not unduly so.
Anyway, I WILL be back, because my bill came up to $19.00 for me and my wife, and that included coffee. Yes, that is considerably more than Don's Grill or Steak and Egger, but there's a time and a place for everything, and unlike Meli in Greektown, you don't feel like you've won the lottery if you can find a parking space.
PS: Is that your review in there (Tom B.)?

You and I may disagree on some things, but you're easily one of the biggest resources the Chicago forum has and one of the most straight-through sincere posters around. I don't know why, but for some reason, I really like you.
