3950 N LSD is a big building with multiple towers. I know two people who lived there and one who still does. It's fine. If you work downtown, the express buses stop at your front door before getting on Lakeshore. Depending on where you work in the Loop, it's often quicker than the train, which is 2 to 3 big blocks, so it's a 5-10 min walk.

For my 2 cents, I'd rather live in a more neighborhoody setting than in a high-rise like 3950. You're in the Wrigleyville/Buena Park area, but a little secluded. You have to really cover some ground to get to basic amenities. I prefer to live right around the amenities in a less dense neighborhood, myself.

I think there are a lot of areas in Chicago that are nicer than Queens I was watching Season 2 of Ghost Whisperer and Jennifer Love Hewitt said to her husband - "Why don't we just move to a place that ghosts won't want to go - like Antartica or Queens." I thought that was funny.

She's already assessed our thin crust and found it lacking. I tried to steer her toward Bacci as it seems to be the closest thing to a NY-style joint we have here, but I have yet to find out if she's actually been there yet.
