I'm coming to Chicago next week & I'll stay for about 3 days
do you recommend any places to visit or things to do?

Where will you be staying? Downtown? Suburbs?

There are TONS of things to do, too much to do in a lifetime if you ask me. Do you like museums? Opera? Live theater/music? Shop-til-you-drop? Parks? What kind of restaurants do you prefer (cheap or pricey)? Answer that and I can give you some ideas.

You really cannot do yourself justice by only 3 days. Really nobody ever thinks about a "vacation" in Chicago and the city does not market itself as a "vacation" spot but Chicago is one of the best places for a family vacation I know of. It is a hell of alot cheaper than Orlando and you and your family will see some of the best museums in the world. a world class Art Institute, the Shedd Aquarium, Navy Pier and, if you want amusement, 6 flags is only a short drive north. It is fun city to visit and all the vistors I ever brought there loved it. You can spend a whole day in just the Field Museum alone.
