I think credit should be given to the original artists who created the music you sampled to make this piece. My biggest complaint about music today is that so many "artists" are just throwing their lyrics over music that other people actually wrote and recorded. I know this makes me a grouchy old man but I myself am a musician and when I write a song I don't borrow huge chunks of other peoples music and take credit for writing it.
