Floyd would be a big 'get' for a fest like Lolla or Bonnaroo. Better than Paul McCartney or Bruce Springsteen.

One of the reasons I like Riot fest is the lineup is a bit more punk/alternative/metal etc. than Paul and Bruce type headliners.

Roger Waters and David Gilmour have played together almost none in the last ...15+ years. They've done a small handful of one off shows together in that time, but to get them to play together for ANY festival, venue, etc would be a HUGE get.

Glad Im not the only one who scratches his head when reading these lineups.

If anyone going to the fest has any affinity for heavier post-hardcore with incredibly narrative lyrics and passion filled storytelling, do yourself a favor and see La Dispute. Their album Wildlife is particularly awesome. Read the lyrics. It's an acquired taste though.

Also..uh. SLAYER?! The Cure (again), The National, Samhain(!?), Descendants, Wu Tang...this fest just rules.

So Glen has gone back to the Samhain band name instead of Danzig? Because I had read that he only changed the name and certain band members because of Rick Rubin.
