Best pizza in Chicago?
I grew up in Chicago and everywhere I go or move they ask me - 'What is the best pizza in Chicago?'
Now I want to ask my fellow Chicagoan's - what's your favorite and why??

I like Uno/Due. The 'Why?' is harder to answer specifically... taste I suppose!

I like Connie's too, the one on Archer only (the stuff they sell everywhere else I don't like), must be something in the water ... or it could be because my Dad took me there as a kid.
I'm also very partial to Aurelio's in the south suburbs (that is probably my all-time favorite chicago pie).

Oh, I forgot about Pequod's. I love their caramelized cheese crust.
... That being said, I've always preferred Chicago style thin crust to the thick stuff.
I also like New Haven style pizza (specifically the white clam pizza, but that is another issue entirely and has nothing to do with Chicago )

Of course thin crust;-) Half of the places I listed have only thin crust or that is their best.;-)
