the first time i went it was incredibly crowded/loud and honestly thought the cocktails werent that great

the second time was much better

But yeah, the trifecta on that strip is really Tiny Lounge/Bad Apple/Half Acre

if you're willing to go a little further east theres more options. Fountainhead is kinda close and has a nice rooftop in the summer

If you're going to go further east still, Ten Cat and Long Room are excellent. Longroom wins for the beerlist, Ten Cat wins for the atmosphere

The Bad Apple is great, not sure if you'd consider it a bar or a burger joint though.

I came here to ask the same question. I'm used to hearing those terms used interchangeably, at least in the U.S. If there's any distinction, I tend to think of a pub being a place that's going for a quaint old-fashioned British or Irish kind of ambiance, not a sports bar kind of place.

I've only been on weekdays, which is quiet. I hear it gets packed on weekends, as it is, well tiny. It's a nice place to bring a date for me, and the cocktails are interesting too.

Most of my visits to tiny lounge have been week nights. The few times I've been on a weekend it's been very crowded but not particularly loud.
