There are few web sites for the contract PR/ publishing stuff. With some actual examples of your work you should get some fair offers, and if you stick to more established firms your should be paid in a timely fashion.

Two possibilities -

- Hotel jobs. You may be able to get a weekend job at the front desk, gift shop, bellhop (this is where the money is) at one of the many hotels.

- Real Estate. Such as showing apts. (leasing agent) or showing new construction condos to prospects, etc. You often don't need a R.E. license for this.

You generally need a car for this, I think.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, guys, I will look into all of them when I'm a little less irritated and exhausted.

You can go out and shovel snow tonight and tomorrow. You can make some cash off of this.

To tell the truth I am actually terrified of trying to ride a bike in the city.
Especially lately, heh.

Maybe come spring I can beg my mom for a loan for one.

Avenger, that is a good idea, but I am quite exhausted right now from trudging through it all day anyway.

Well if you would like we both can team up tomorrow and do it. Besides it may be a little scary to ring doorbells or knock on doors as a young single attractive woman like yourself. If I go with you I can guarantee nothing will happen to you.

Not if you are showing apts/condos out of a single building that is accessible by public transportation... I know people that were leasing agents and did not have a car.
